The petitioner has submitted an application dated 09.04.2012 to the 1st respondent, seeking to appoint her as Assistant Director of Tamil Development, and since the said application has not been considered, she has filed this writ petition, for a direction to the 1st respondent to forward the abovesaid representation/application to the 2nd respondent and to direct the 2nd respondent to appoint her as Assistant Director of Tamil Development within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2.Having regard to the limited relief sought for, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the 1st respondent is directed to forward the application of the petitioner to the 1st respondent, seeking to appoint her as Assistant Director of Tamil Development, and the 1st respondent in turn, shall consider the same and pass orders in accordance with law, if there are no legal impediments, after affording opportunity of being heard to the petitioner. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
