JUDGMENT / ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the order passed by the Special Officer of the respondent Co-operative Society dated 02.12.2003.
2.Admittedly the respondent is a Cooperative Society. As per the Full Bench decision of this Court in K.Marappan v. Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies, reported in 2006 (4) CTC 689, a writ petition filed against a Cooperative Society, is not maintainable. Hence this writ petition is dismissed as not maintainable, with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedies before the appropriate authority. The period of pendency of this writ petition before this Court shall be excluded for the purpose of limitation, while approaching the appropriate authority. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
