PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 & 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.11.2010 and 29.12.2010, consequently, direct the respondents to conduct a proper public auction to give fishing rights in Asakalathu Lake, Villupuram District.

O R D E R
The petitioner has filed this petition to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to consider his representation dated 11.11.2010 and 29.12.2010, consequently, direct the respondents to conduct a proper public auction to give fishing rights in Asakalathu Lake, Villupuram District.
2. Heard Mr.N.Subramani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.S.Diwakar, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.
3. The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition with limited scope to direct the respondents to consider his representation dated 29.12.2010 for conducting public auction for giving fishing rights. The said representation was made for the year 2010 – 2011. The said representation has now become infructuous. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file an application to the authorities concerned and the authority shall consider his representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.
4. With the above observation, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
