Mr.T.C.Gopalakrishnan, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writs of mandamus directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation dated 04.05.2017, in accordance with law.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that the respondents are attempting to locate a bus stand shelter in front of his property at No.42, Old No.103, Flat No.4670, W Block, 2nd Avenue, Anna Nagar, Chennai 40 and hence he has given a representation dated 04.05.2017 to the respondents not to locate the bus stand shelter in front of his property.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the 2nd respondent has not considered the petitioner's representation so far.
5. Mr.T.C.Gopalakrishnan, learned Standing Counsel, appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 04.05.2017, in accordance with law.
6. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.05.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
