The applicant is before this Court for a direction to initiate contempt proceeding against the opposite party for wilful disobedience of the judgement and order dated 5.1.2021 passed in Public Interest Litigation No.1422 of 2021 (Surendra Yadav Vs. State of U.P. and others).
An affidavit of compliance was filed by the opposite party. It is admitted between the parties that the order passed by the writ Court has already been complied with.
In this view of the matter, Court is of the opinion that the order passed by the writ court has been complied with, therefore, no cause of action remained survive.
In view of the same, the present contempt application is dismissed.
