...PETITIONER (BY SRI.VICTOR MANOHARAN S, ADVOCATE) AND:
1. THE DIRECTOR PRE-UNIVERSITY EDUCATION DEPARTMENT, 18TH CROSS, MALLESHWARAM, BENGALURU-560012.
2. THE DEPUTY DIRECTOR PRE-UNIVERSITY EDUCATION DEPARTMENT, NO.218, ZILLA ADMINISTRATIVE BHAVAN, CHAMARAJANAGAR DISTRICT, CHAMARAJANAGAR-571313 3. THE PRINCIPAL GOVERNMENT PRE-UNIVERSITY COLLEGE, ALUR, CHAMARAJANAGAR-571117.
...RESPONDENTS (BY SMT. SHILPA.S.GOGI, HCGP) THIS WRIT PETITION IS FILED UNDER ARTICLES 226 AND 227 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA PRAYING TO QUASH THE ORDER DATED 11.07.2019 PASSED IN APPLICATION NO.3972 OF 2019 BY THE HON'BLE KARNATAKA STATE ADMINISTRATIVE TRIBUNAL, BENGALURU, PRODUCED AT ANNEXURE- A.
THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING THIS DAY, SATYANARAYANA J., MADE THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER The petitioner herein who is the applicant in Application No.3972/2019 on the file of the Karnataka State Administrative Tribunal (for short “Tribunal”) has come up in this petition impugning the order dated 11.7.2019 in rejecting his application seeking quashing of the Memo bearing No. C1/PaPoSe/HuNe/SC/Hu.Neyojane-01/2019-20/165 dated 1.6.2019.
2. Admittedly, the petitioner is a full time lecturer in the Government Pre-University College, Alur, Chamarajanagar. His grievance is that by Memo dated 1.6.2019 the petitioner herein and several other persons were posted to different colleges on deputation to work for three days in the said colleges, which is sought to be challenged in the application filed before the Tribunal wherein the said application was opposed by the State on the ground that in view of large scale vacancies in the various colleges in the State, a stop gap arrangement is made to ensure that atleast for a few days in a week, lecturers are provided to teach various subjects in colleges where there is shortage of lecturers. The Tribunal after considering the various grounds urged in the application as well as the defence raised by the State was pleased to dismiss the application filed by the petitioner herein by order dated 11.7.2019, which is sought to be challenged in this petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Pleader for the State.
4. On going through the order impugned, it is clearly seen that there are no grounds made out to interfere with the well reasoned order rejecting the application filed by the petitioner.
5. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
