Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Tariq Maqbool Khan for the Gaon Sabha, respondent no. 4.
This writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 3 to decide the Case no. 00653/19 and Computerized Case No.T-2019 15060400653 under section 34/35 of U.P.L.R. Act within stipulated period as fix by this Hon'ble Court."
The petitioner is aggrieved as his mutation case filed in the year 2019, has not been decided finally till date.
Perusal of the order sheet of the proceedings sought to be expedited reveals that on almost every date, the matter has been adjourned on account of lawyers being on strike.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 3 to decide the mutation case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him provided the lawyers refrain from going on strike.
