Sri Ashish Mishra, learned counsel, on oral instructions from opposite party, has appeared and states that enquiry is in progress to trace out the missing cheque. He seeks six weeks time to complete the enquiry. He further states that in compliant case, non bailable warrants had been issued and endeavour is being made to conclude the proceedings expeditiously.
Having regard to the aforesaid stand, the contempt proceedings are dropped at this stage. The opposite party shall make serious endeavour to complete the enquiry and to see that person found guilty is proceeded against in accordance with law and that the complaint case is also concluded expeditiously.
The contempt application stands disposed of accordingly.
