Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Ms. Monika Vaish, learned Counsel for the respondent no.3, and Sri A.K. Saxena, learned Counsel for the respondent-department.
The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging the provisional assessment made against him.
Against the provisional assessment order the petitioner has a remedy of filing an objection under section 126(3) of the U.P. Electricity Act, 2003.
In case, the petitioner files an objection before the authority concerned within 15 days from today, the same shall be decided by the respondent authority in accordance with law within the next 15 days.
For a period of one month or till the decision on the objection so filed by the petitioner, whichever is earlier, no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioner.
The writ petition is disposed of finally as above. No costs.
