1. Heard Ms. Sarita Jhingan, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for respondents No.1,2, 6 and 7.
2. This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction upon Sub- Divisional Magistrate/Prescribed Authority, Tehsil Amariya, District Pilibhit for concluding election petition filed under Section 12-C of U.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1947 at the earliest.
3. The election of Gram Panchayat was held in the State of Uttar Pradesh in the month of April 2021 and the petitioner had challenged the election by filing election petition on 04.06.2021. Further from perusal of order sheet I find that only notice has been issued to the contesting respondent in the election petition.
4. Since only two months have passed since filing of election petition therefore, no such direction, as sought, can be issued to the authority concerned at this stage.
5. Writ petition stands dismissed.
