The prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the trial court to decide the application for temporary injunction pending in Original Suit No.164 of 2017 within a specified time frame.
A perusal of the order sheet reveals that the defendants have been served by publication of summons in the newspaper. The court is regularly fixing dates for disposal of the application for temporary injunction.
Having regard to the above facts, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the trial court to make serious endeavour to decide the application for temporary injunction expeditiously, by fixing short dates and without granting unnecessary adjournments.
