Petitioner is permitted to implead Accountant General, U.P. Allahabad as respondent no.5. Notice on behalf of said respondent is accepted by Sri Rajnish Kumar Rai, Advocate.
Petitioner has superannuated on 30th June, 2015 from the post of Regular Collection Amin. His grievance is that all his retiral benefit have been released but 10% GPF is withheld. In respect of such grievance, petitioner has already approached the authority concerned and the representation is annexed as Annexure-5 to this writ petition.
Learned Standing Counsel points out that such claim of petitioner needs verification at the level of respondent no.5, and then a decision shall be taken, in accordance with law.
Considering the above, this writ petition stands disposed of permitting the petitioner to approach respondent no.5, alongwith certified copy of this order, within two weeks from today. The concerned respondent shall have the record verified and necessary action for release of balance retiral dues, in case there is no legal hindrance, shall be taken, within a further period of two months, thereafter. In case any amount is found due and payable, the same shall be released within a further period of six weeks, thereafter.
