The learned Advocate for respondent No.5 prays for time to point out as to in exercise of which powers the respondent No.5- complainant had stopped the consignment in question. In the complaint itself, it is the case case of the respondent No.5 that he is authorized by the Animal Welfare Board of India. In the circumstances, on the next date of hearing, the respondent No.5 shall produce such authorization and show as to how he is authorized to stop and inspect a consignment of meat sent for one State outside Gujarat to another State outside Gujarat.
At the request of the learned Advocate for respondent No.5 as well as at the request of learned Additional Public Prosecutor who seeks time to take instructions in the matter, the matter stands adjourned to 16th July, 2008.
Ad-interim relief, granted earlier, to continue.
