State vs Majmudar For Petitioner Nos.1

(Per : HONOURABLE MR.JUSTICE D.H.WAGHELA) The petitioner has invoked Article 226 of the Constitution praying to hold the award dated 25.9.1997 in favour of the petitioner to be illegal and unlawful and to direct the respondent authorities to return the land which was acquired from the petitioner and which has remained unused for more than twelve years after the award. Learned counsel could not canvass any legal contention, legal provision or precedent to justify issuance of any writ for the purpose of granting any of the reliefs. Therefore, the petition is summarily dismissed.
