JUDGMENT / ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to take suitable action on the basis of representation alleged to have been given by the petitioner on 01.12.2016, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.
2.It is averred in the petition that the petitioner is a resident of Goundempatti Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District. Further it is averred in the petition that certain irregularities have been committed in the appointment of non-teaching staff in Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar College, Usilampatti. Under the said circumstances, a representation has been given on 01.12.2016. But the respondents 1 and 2 have not considered the same and therefore the present writ petition has been filed for getting the relief sought therein.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has advanced his argument only on the basis of averments made in the writ petition.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 has contended that on the basis of representation dated 01.12.2016, a preliminary enquiry has been conducted.
5.Considering the fact that on the basis of representation dated 01.12.2016, the respondents 1 and 2 have conducted a preliminary enquiry, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.
6.In fine, this writ petition is allowed without costs and the respondents 1 and 2 are strictly directed to look into the representation dated 01.12.2016 and if any offences are made out, directed to proceed further.
