O R D E R Sri. Virupakshaiah, P.H., learned counsel for the petitioner.
Sri. B. Balakrishna, learned AGA for respondents.
This petition is admitted for hearing. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the same is heard finally.
2. In this petition under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner inter alia seeks for a writ of mandamus to direct the 4th respondent to consider the representation dated 21.5.2018 as per Annexure-C and to direct the respondents to renew the petitioner’s license every year by taking prescribed fees for the same.
3. When the matter was taken up, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petition be disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.4 to consider the prayer of the petitioner for renewal of fishing license.
4. Sri.B. Balakrishna, learned AGA submitted that suitable action in accordance with law shall be taken in view of the submission made and in the facts of the case.
5. The petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.4 to decide the representation submitted by the petitioner by a speaking order within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order passed today. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
