Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents and Sri Arun Kumar Pal, learned counsel for the respondent no. 1 and have perused the record.
Present petition has been filed with a prayer to direct the respondent no 1 to consider the representation dated 8.12.2020 filed by the petitioner and permit the trainees of the petitioner's institution i.e. 14 in number to appear in the examination for the Session 2018-2020.
Sri Arun Kumar Pal, learned counsel appearing for the respondent no. 1 states that the grievance of the petitioner can first be looked into by the respondent no. 1 and appropriate orders shall be passed.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is urgency in the matter as examination may take place at any point of time.
In view of the aforesaid, without going into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 1 to pass appropriate orders on the application filed by the petitioner (annexure 9 to the petition) on its own merit, preferably within a period of one month from the date of filing of such representation.
Petitioner is also at liberty to file fresh representation for this purpose.
It is made clear that this Court has not examined the merits of the claim of the petitioner, which shall be looked into by the said respondent while deciding the representation of the petitioner.
With the aforesaid observation/direction, this writ petition is finally disposed of. No order as to costs.
