Heard Sri Anubhav Chandra, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Pankaj Kumar Shukla for respondents no. 2 and 3.
The grievance of the petitioner is that respondents no. 2 and 3 are carrying High Tension Electricity Supply line over his agricultural land khasra no. 1315 situate in village Semari (Majhawa), Pargana-Kashiwar, Tehsil-Sadar, District Mirzapur without his consent and without paying any compensation.
The grievance of the petitioner in regard to carrying of the said electricity line over his land can be looked into by the District Magistrate under the provisions of the Works of Licensee Rules, 2006.
In view of the above alternative remedy available to the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate under the aforesaid Rules by means of a representation within a period weeks from today. In case any such representation is filed or grievance is raised, the District Magistrate shall consider it in accordance with law most expeditiously, if possible, within a period of two months thereafter.
The petition is disposed of.
