The prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Meerut, where Matrimonial Case bearing No. 635/2014 under Section 13-A of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, is pending, to decide the same expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months and for a further direction to decide the application under Section 24 within one month.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent has appeared and has filed his written statement. He submitted that the application under Section 24 filed by the petitioner is also pending and has not been disposed of so far.
Having regard to these facts, the instant petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to decide the application under Section 24 without delay and without granting unnecessary adjournments, having regard to the provisions of Section 21-B of the Act, and thereafter decide the case itself finally.
