Heard Sri Amit Kumar Singh (A/P 0091/2012) holding brief of Sri Paras Nath Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner in the writ petition is seeking a directing to the respondents to issue licence of saw mill to the petitioner.
It is stated that in respect of the claim raised in this writ petition the petitioner has preferred a representation to the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, U.P. Lucknow on 18.3.2019 by registered post of the same date, a copy of which has been filed as Annexure 4 to the writ petition.
No useful purpose will be served by keeping the matter pending.
We, therefore, dispose of this writ petition with the direction Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, U.P. Lucknow to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 18.3.2019 in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a further period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. Along with the certified copy the petitioner shall also file a copy of the said representation in his office.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioners on merits.
