JUDGMENT / ORDER

By consent of both parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner has come this Court questioning the correctness of the impugned disqualification slip passed by the respondent department dated 07.08.2017.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that while the petitioner participated in the 200 meters running event, her colleague, who was running behind the petitioner, was selected in the said event, whereas, the petitioner who was running before the selected candidate, was disqualified for no reason.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the delayed writ petition should not be entertained for the reason that even the re-test directed to be held by this Hon'ble Court has been completed. The learned Additional Government Pleader on instructions from Mr.P.Rajapandian, Sub-Inspector and Mr.S.Kaliyappan, Special Sub-Inspector would further submit that the provisional list of selected candidates has also been issued on 01.09.2017.
5.Since, the provisional list of selected candidates has been issued by the respondent department, this Court is unable to entertain this Writ Petition.
6.The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
