JUDGMENT / ORDER

Application for bail under Sec.439 of Cr.P.C. 2. Petitioners are accused nos.1 to 6 in Crime No.276 of 2014 of Upputhara Police station registered for offences punishable under Secs.143, 147, 148, 341, 326, 294(b), 323, 324 and 427 read with Sec.149 of IPC.
2. Prosecution case is that on 24.07.2014 at about 5 p.m., the accused intercepted an autorickshaw in which the defacto complainant was travelling. He was manhandled by using an iron rod. He lost 2 teeth in the incident. The accused caused damages to the autorickshaw as well.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Public Prosecutor.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that there is a counter case to this incident and in that matter, one of the accused sustained head injury.
5. Learned Public Prosecutor submitted that the other case was registered on the next date in respect of Bail Appl. No.6282 of 2014 2 an incident happened on the next day.
6. Considering the nature of allegations, I am inclined to pass the following order.
The petitioners shall surrender before the investigating officer within ten days from today and submit themselves for interrogation. Thereafter, the investigating officer shall produce the petitioners before the learned Magistrate having jurisdiction. The petitioners are free to move for regular bail before that Court and in that event, the learned Magistrate shall consider the applications on the same day.
