Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
This writ petition has been filed seeking the following among other relief:-
"A. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus Commanding and Directing the Respondent No. 2 [Additional Commissioner (Administration) Prayagraj Division, Prayagraj] to decide the Revision No. C201702001078, Sitla Devi Vs. Ramkaran and others, Under Section 219 of the U.P. Land Revenue Act, within stipulated period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
Petitioner seeks direction for expeditious disposal of a revision under Section 219 of the UP Land Revenue Act stated to be pending consideration since 10.10.2017. It is also stated that lower court record had been received in the revisional court, on 12.12.2018.
In view of the above, without entering into the merits of the controversy between the parties, I dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent no. 2, Additional Commissioner (Administrative) Prayagraj Division, Prayagraj to consider and decide the case expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
