Heard learned counsel for the applicant and Shri Devesh Vikram, learned Standing Counsel.
The applicants are before this Court against the wilful disobedience of the order dated 08.10.2018 passed in Writ-C No.33822 of 2017 (Sipahi Lal & Ors. v. State of U.P. & Ors.).
On the matter being taken up today, instructions dated 21.08.2019 have been filed by learned Standing Counsel intimating that the aforesaid order has been complied with.
In view of above, nothing further survives on this petition and the same stands disposed of. Notices, if any, stand discharged. However, it is made clear that this order would not preclude the applicants to agitate their claim before the appropriate forum. The instructions are taken on record and a copy thereof has been supplied to learned counsel for the applicants.
