This is a petition filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking transfer of O.P.No.449/2014 filed before the Family Court, Kozhikode to Family Court, Ernakulam. 2. The marital relationship between the petitioner and the respondent became bitter and litigations began. It is pointed out that the respondent has instituted O.S.No.449/2014 before the Family Court, Kozhikode for getting a decree of divorce. It is also pointed out that the petitioner is doing her studies at Ernakulam and she finds it difficult to come over to Kozhikode on every date of posting. The petitioner further says that she had nobody to accompany her and she finds it difficult to go alone. Therefore, she prays that the matter may be transferred to Family Court, Ernakulam.
3. The respondent has been served with notice.
In the light of the facts and circumstances, it is felt that the T.P(C) No.390/2014 2 relief can be granted to the petitioner.
In the result, the petition is allowed. O.P.No.449/2014 pending before the Family Court, Kozhikode shall stand transferred to Family Court, Ernakulam.
