The petitioner claims to have filed a reply to the notice dated 18 September 2017 issued by Greater Noida for removing the unauthorised construction. All that is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner at the time of hearing of this petition is that a decision may be taken at an early date.
Sri Kaushalendra Nath Singh, learned counsel appearing for Greater Noida states that all endeavours shall be made by Greater Noida to take a decision at an early date.
This writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to make all endeavours to take a decision on the reply filed by the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is filed by the petitioner.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated on the merits of the case and it will be for the authority concerned to take a decision in accordance with law.
