The petitioner retired as Assistant Conservator of Forest on 30.9.2017. He is aggrieved by non payment of retiral dues.
Learned Standing Counsel was granted time on 20.3.2018 to obtain instructions. He has obtained instructions and on its basis states that 90% of the GPF along with interest has been paid to the petitioner on 26.2.2018 and for the balance 10% a letter of sanction has been sent to the office of the Principal Accountant General, Lucknow. It is expected that the soon balance 10% of the GPF shall be paid to the petitioner.
The instructions received by the Standing Counsel is completely silent with regard to the gratuity and regular pension.
In view of the aforesaid facts, we issue an interim mandamus directing the respondents to pay balance 10% of the GPF with interest, gratuity with interest to the petitioner within a period of one month from today or to show cause by filing counter affidavit.
List after a month.
