The petitioner in the writ petition is seeking a direction to the Civil Judge (Junior Division), District Deoria to decide the Original Suit No.2023 of 1997 (Atarvasi Devi (since deceased) Vs. Lal Bahadur and Others) expeditiously.
No useful purpose would be served by keeping this writ petition pending.
The writ petition is therefore disposed of with a direction to the Civil Judge (Junior Division), District Deoria to decide the Original Suit No.2023 of 1997 (Atarvasi Devi (since deceased) Vs. Lal Bahadur and Others) in accordance with law after giving an adequate opportunity of hearing to all the parties to the lis expeditiously preferably within a period of one year from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioner on merit.
