JUDGMENT / ORDER

HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE C.V. NAGARJUNA REDDY WRIT PEITITON No. 8243 OF 2002 Dated 21st January, 2010 Between:
Shriji Shipbreaking Pvt. Ltd., rep., by its Managing Director, Sri Nagjibhai K. Patel, s/o. Kanji Bhai Patel, aged 51 years, Occ: Business, r/o. 1202, Panchratna, Opera House, Bombay-4 and four others ………Petitioner And Government of Andhra Pradesh, rep., by its Secretary, Revenue Department, Secretariat, Hyderabad and four others … Respondents Counsel for the petitioner : Sri N. Vijay for Sri M. Krishna Mohan Rao Counsel for the respondents: : Government Pleader for Revenue The Court made the following ORDER:
In this writ petition, the petitioners have sought for a mandamus to declare the inaction of the respondents in implementing order dated 17-04-1996 in Writ Petition No. 7959 of 1996 and batch as arbitrary and illegal.
A perusal of the proceedings sheet shows that on 23-10-2002, this Court passed the following order in WPMP No. 10269 of 2002:
“Heard both sides. Though the matter undergone three adjournments, no counter is filed. The only relief sought in the writ petition is to implement the orders passed in W.P.No.7959 of 1996 and batch dated 17.4.1996 wherein this Court has given directions to the respondents to complete the survey operations already undertaken by them, for the purpose of localizing the patta lands of private individuals including the petitioners in all these writ petitions as expeditiously as possible. Having regard to the same, I do not find any justification on the part of the respondents in not complying with the said orders. In view of the same, there shall be an interim direction to the respondents to complete the survey operations already undertaken by them, for the purpose of localizing the patta lands of private individuals including the petitioners as expeditiously as possible.”
Since the order reproduced above has the effect of granting final relief, no further orders need be passed in this writ petition. It is needless to observe that if the above mentioned order has not been complied with, the petitioners shall be free to initiate appropriate proceedings, in accordance with law.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
