Heard Shri Sadhu Sharan, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel on behalf of respondent no. 1 and Shri Pranjal Mehrotra, learned counsel for respondents no. 2 and 3.
In this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to respondent no. 3 to pay the Gratuity, Earned Leave encashment, amount of Life Insurance along with arrears, arrears of Dearness Allowance of 5th & 6th Pay Commission.
No useful purpose would be served by keeping the present petition pending.
This writ petition is, therefore, disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to make a representation before the respondent no. 3 (Executive Engineer, 2nd Construction Division, U.P. Jal Nigam, Ghazipur) within 15 days from today in respect of the relief claimed in the present petition, along with a certified copy of this order. The respondent no. 3 shall consider and decide the said representation within a further period of three months in accordance with law.
It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioner on merits.
