Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The primary prayer made in the writ petition, reads thus:
“I) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned First Information Report dated 19.08.2017, registered as Case Crime No.231 of 2017, Under Section 363, 366 Indian Penal Code, Police Station Islam Nagar, District Budaun, lodged by Respondent No.4 (annexed as annexure No.'1' to the writ petition).”
Mr. Murtaza, learned AGA, on instructions, submits that the investigating agency has filed a closure/final report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, bearing no.89/2017 dated 15.12.2017, and in view thereof, this petition renders infructuous.
The petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous.
