The present petition is directed against the suspension order dated 15.2.2018 whereby the petitioner was placed under suspension on the ground of dereliction of duties. The allegations levelled upon the petitioner in the suspension order are serious and, therefore, this Court finds no justification to interfere.
However, in view of the judgment of Apex Court in the case of Ajay Kumar Choudhary Vs. Union of India through its Secretary & another reported in 2015 (7) SCC 291 it is directed that the disciplinary authority shall conclude the enquiry against the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of submission of a certified copy of this order provided the petitioner co-operates.
For the above facts, the writ petition is disposed of.
