This application has been filed for the expeditious decision of the application filed under Section 20 of the Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act, 1956. The grievance of the petitioner is that the application was not being decided despite the fact that the Act provided for the decision of the same within a stipulated period of time.
Under such circumstances, it is being directed that Case No. 383 of 2019 be decided expeditiously and preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
