Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State- respondents.
The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that the mutation case instituted in the year 2018 under Section 34/35 of the UP Land Revenue Act has not been disposed of, till date.
In view of the above, without entering into the merits of the controversy between the parties, I dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent no. 2, Tehsildar, Tehsil Martinganj, Azamgarh to consider and decide the mutation case under Section 34/35 of the UP Land Revenue Act (Shiv Poojan vs. Dhamu) expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
