The petitioner who was a defendant has filed this petition with a prayer that the suit being Original Suit No.1318 of 2017 be decided expeditiously. He states that even issues have not been framed till date despite the fact that written statement had been filed.
Under such circumstances, it is being directed that issues be framed within a period of one month from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order and the suit thereafter be decided on a day to day basis as expeditiously as possible. Adjournment may be granted only under very pressing circumstances and that too after imposition of heavy costs on the party seeking adjournment.
With these observations, the petition is disposed of.
