Heard Sri Gaurav Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner and the Sri Mata Prasad, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents no. 1 and 3.
The petitioner in the writ petition is seeking a direction to the respondents to release the retiral benefits (Pension and gratuity).
No useful purpose would be served in keeping the petition pending.
This writ petition is therefore, disposed of with the consent of learned counsel for the parties with a direction that if the petitioner prefers a fresh representation raising all his grievances as raised in the writ petition before the respondent no.1-Secretary, Nagar Anubhag-1, Lucknow, U.P. within 15 days from today along with the certified copy of this order, the respondent no. 1 shall consider and decide the same, in accordance with law, within a further period of three months.
It is made clear that the court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioner on merit.
