Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent nos 1, 2 and 3.
This petition has been filed seeking protection and for a direction to the respondents not to create any hindrance or harassment in the marriage life of the petitioners.
It is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the marriage of the petitioners was solemnized on 15.6.2021 and the petitioners have applied for online marriage registration on 18.6.2021 bearing Application I.D. No. 202101801160 which is enclosed as Annexure No. 5 and 6 to the petition. It is contended that the respondent no. 4, who is the father of the petitioner no. 1, is harassing them since they have married of their personal choice.
The petitioners have not been able to demonstrate the allegation of harassment or hindrance in their married life by the respondents. If they feel threatened at any point of time, it is for the petitioners to take appropriate steps by filing an FIR or a suit for injunction, if they are so advised.
