JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader, apart from perusing the record. Since the issue lies in a narrow compass, this Court proposes to dispose of the writ petition at the admission stage itself. 2. Briefly stated, the petitioner, who is the registered owner of a stage carriage bearing registration No.KL-13/V- 4255, had a regular permit to operate the said vehicle on a particular route. Since the timings were issued to the petitioner to operate the said stage carriage as early as on 11.09.2001, the petitioner is said to have submitted Ext.P2 representation requesting revision of the existing time schedule. The grievance of the petitioner is that so far Ext.P2 representation has not been disposed of.
3. The learned Government Pleader has submitted that W.P.(C.) No. 25537/2014 -2-
the issue has actively been seized of by the respondent, who is taking steps to dispose it of at an early date. The learned Government Pleader, therefore, submits that at this juncture the matter does not call for any adjudication on merits.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, having regard to the respective submissions of the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent to consider Ext.P2 representation of the petitioner in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
