Crl. Misc. (Short Term) Bail Application No. 13 of 2018 Heard Sri Dinesh Kumar Singh holding brief of Sri Indra Pal Singh Rajpoot, learned counsel for the appellant/applicant.
This application has been filed for granting parole urging that since the appellant's father has died, and he has to attend the ceremonial and customary function according to his religion after 40 days, he may be enlarged on short term bail.
In paragraph nos. 5 and 6 of the affidavit in support of the application, it has been stated that the father of the applicant died leaving behind his sons, and the appellant is the elder son of his father. It is therefore evident that there are other heirs and sons of the deceased who can perform such customary rites. Therefore no essential or compelling ground is made out so as to grant short term bail.
The application is accordingly rejected.
