Heard Sri Subhash Chandra Yadava,learned counsel for petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the State respondent.
By means of the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no.1, the Prescribed Authority/ Up-Jiladhikari Rasra, District- Ballia to decide the interim/stay application pending in Appeal No. 02 of 2020 (Shanti Vs. Gram Panchayat Adhikari Lawkara & Ors)within a stipulated period of time as fixed by the Court.
It is submitted by learned counsel for petitioner that against correction of entries, an appeal filed has been before the respondent no.1 under Rule 6-A of U.P. Panchayatraj (Maintenance of Family Registers) Rules 1970 which is pending till date.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merit of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.1, the Prescribed Authority/ Up-Jiladhikari Rasra, District- Ballia to decide interim/stay application of the petitioner filed in the Appeal No. 02 of 2020 (Shanti Vs. Gram Panchayat Adhikari Lawkara & Ors) within a period of one month from the date of production of computerized copy of this order.
The concerned Court/Authority/Official shall verify the authenticity of such computerized copy of the order from the official website of High Court Allahabad and shall act accordingly without waiting for submission of the certified copy of this order.
