Pursuant to the order passed on previous occasion, Sri S. K. Pandey, learned counsel for the District Basic Education Officer concerned has placed the instructions received from the respondents, as per which, records have already been transmitted to the office of Senior Treasury Officer, Auraiya, on 23.5.2018 and an assurance is also extended on behalf of the respondents that petitioner's claim for retiral dues would be processed at the earliest.
In view of the above, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondents to ensure release of retiral due to the petitioner, within a period of two months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order, failing which petitioner shall be entitled to payment of interest @ 8% per annum. It shall be open for the respondents to recover the amount of interest from the salary of the officer, who is found responsible for causing delay in releasing the retiral dues.
