Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri Birendra Pratap Singh learned Standing Counsel for the State.
The petitioners who are Pharmacists and posted in the District Hospital Pilibhit have been charged with performing emergency duties in light of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Their grievance is that they have not been provided any residential accommodation in the hospital and that they have to consequently travel long distances for the purposes of attending to their duties.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the third respondent states that subject to verification of all facts, the grievance as noted above shall be duly examined and such further remedial action as is warranted taken with expedition.
Accordingly this petition shall stand disposed of in light of the statement noted above.
