1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for State-respondents.
2. The petitioner is card-holder of fair price shop and resident of village Adoula Maafi Chak Rafiuddin Nagar, Block Pawasa, Tehsil and District Sambhal,. The sole prayer is for a direction upon respondent No.2 to decide application dated 10.07.2021, which is for attachment of cards of fair price shop of the village with some license holder of fair price shop as licence of fair price shop holder of the village in question has been cancelled.
3. Learned Standing Counsel fairly states that in case the aforesaid application is still pending and has not been disposed of, the same will be considered and decided expeditiously.
4. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending or calling for counter affidavit, as such, respondent No.2 is directed to decide the aforesaid application, expeditiously, in accordance with law, if there is no legal impediment in deciding the same, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order downloaded from the website of the High Court.
5. Writ petition stands disposed of.
