1. Petitioner claims to have filed an application dated 06.03.2018 for transfer of the fire arm license earlier issued to his father. The petitioner has filed that application under family heirloom category since his father is 78 years old.
2. Insofar as the license, at present, appears to have been issued from Muzaffar Nagar while the petitioner is seeking the license to be transferred in his name at Allahabad, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction in case, the petitioner's father files a fresh application for transfer of his license from Muzaffar Nagar to Allahabad (before the petitioner is permitted to seek transfer of that license in his favour at Allahabad), within a period of two weeks from today alongwith a ceritified copy of this order, the appropriate licensing authority may act in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of such applications being filed. The case of transfer of that licence in favour of the petitioner may be sought in accordance with law, thereafter.
