By an order dated 07 March 2020 passed by the third respondent, the penalty of dismissal as imposed was substituted by a direction for stoppage of two annual increments. Admittedly, the petitioner has not challenged the aforesaid order till date. In view of the aforesaid, the Court finds no error in the communication of the respondents dated 29 September 2020 which upon noticing the aforesaid had rightly held that the two annual increments which had been stopped cannot be restored as long as the order dated 7 March 2021 remained intact.
Leaving it open to the petitioner to initiate appropriate proceedings as permissible in law, if so chosen and advised, against the order of 07 March 2020, this writ petition is dismissed.
