Satish Chandra vs State Of U P And Others

High Court Of Judicature at Allahabad|26 July, 2019
|

JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 38
Case :- WRIT - A No. - 11224 of 2019 Petitioner :- Satish Chandra Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 3 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Anil Kumar Dubey,Shashi Singh Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.
Hon'ble Ashwani Kumar Mishra,J.
Petitioner had applied for appointment to the post of driver in U.P. Police. He was permitted to appear in the driving test, but he has not been able to qualify.
Perusal of annexure 4 would go to show that petitioner could not drive the light vehicle during the road test and, therefore, he has been declared unsuccessful.
Petitioner’s grievance is that test was not properly conducted and that he may be permitted to appear in a fresh test. Such a plea is not liable to be entertained, inasmuch as he has already been permitted to appear in the driving test, which he could not qualify. No further reason is required to be assigned as to why the petitioner has not been selected.
Writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
