JUDGMENT / ORDER

THE HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE A.SELVAM AND THE HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE P.KALAIYARASAN H.C.P.No.1101 of 2017 Sathiya Petitioner vs.

Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of habeas corpus to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent dated 12.06.2017 in Memo No.335/BCDFGISSSV/2017 against the petitioner's husband, Lingam @ Ganesh @ Ganesan, Male, aged 30 years, son of Subramani, who is confined at Central Prison-II, Puzhal, Chennai and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.
For Petitioner : Ms.M. Idhaya Mary For Respondents : Mr.V.M.R.Rajentren, APP ORDER (Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM,J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to call for the records relating to detention order, dated 12.06.2017 passed in Memo No.335/BCDFGISSSV/2017, by the detaining authority against the detenu, by name Lingam @ Ganesh @ Ganesan, Male, aged 30 years, son of Subramani, residing at No.29, B-Block, Backside Hut, Old Bus Stand, Shenoy Nagar, Chennai - 30 and quash the same.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has represented to the effect that the detention order in question has already been quashed by way of passing G.O. Rt.No.3556, dated 18.07.2017 and a copy of the same is submitted for perusal of the Court and this Court has perused the same and ultimately, found that the detention order in question has already been quashed.
3. Since the detention order in question has already been quashed, the relief sought for in the petition has become infructuous.
In fine, this habeas corpus petition is dismissed.
