The sole relief pressed for by the learned counsel for the petitioners at the time of hearing of this petition is that the representation dated 23 October 2017 filed by the petitioners before the Finance and Accounts Officer in the office of Basic Education, Allahabad regarding deduction of the installment amounts from the salary of the members of the Society may be decided.
It is stated that the Society has distributed loan to its members with a condition that the installment amount shall be deducted from their salary. The grievance is that since the last one year the installment amount is not being deducted. The representation filed by the petitioners, therefore, needs to be decided.
Sri A.K. Yadav, learned counsel appearing for the District Basic Education Officer and the Finance and Accounts Officer states that the representation filed by the petitioners shall be decided expeditiously.
This petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to the Finance and Accounts Officer in the office of Basic Education, Allahabad to decide the representation filed by the petitioners after hearing the parties concerned expeditiously and preferably within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed by the petitioners.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated on the merits of the case which shall be examined by the Finance and Accounts Officer in accordance with law.
