List is being revised. Nobody is present on behalf of the petitioner to press the present writ petition.
By means of present writ petition, the petitioner has sought following reliefs:
"a. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari and to quash the order dated 21.7.2005/ 2.8.2005 (Annexure-6 to the writ petition) passed by the Joint Director of Education, IVth Region, Allahabad to the extent of giving seniority to the petitioner from the date of joining the post of Lecturer (Economics) in the college.
b. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to give seniority to the petitioner from the date she became eligible against the substantive vacancy for the post of Lecturer (Economics i.e. from 6.4.1996 which was lying vacant since 1.7.1993."
I have examined the order impugned, pleadings and grounds raised in the writ petition and have perused the records. The writ petition is of the year 2006 and it appears that either writ petition is rendered infructuous due to efflux of time or petitioner is no more interested in pursuing the writ petition.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
