The limited prayer of the petitioner is for issuance of a direction to the Respondent No.2, Property Manager, U.P. Avas Vikas Parishad, Vasundhra, District Ghaziabad, to decide his application for mutation of his name in respect of House No.11/760, Vasundhra Ghaziabad, within a stipulated time.
Sri Vivek Saran, learned counsel appearing for the Respondent No.2 submits that the petitioner's father had purchased the property from the erstwhile owner and as per the case of the petitioner, his father is no more. He submits that the pending application of the petitioner would be decided within a month, if already not decided.
Having consdiered the above submissions, we are of the opinion that no useful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending and, accordingly, dispose of the same by expecting Respondent No.2, to decide the pending application of the petitioner for recording of his name expeditiously, preferably within a period of month from the date of serving of a certified copy of this order.
The petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
